Cast Clay

These forms are made from clay scraps taken from the floor of the studio, broken shards, left over slip, spilled raw materials and clay from the recycle bin; then forced into plaster molds allowed to dry and then fired slowly to cone 10. Making these forms solid and the unpredictability of the cracks are important to this series.
